Originally a child’s toy among the Venetians, this decorative, mechanical sphere about the size of a softball, has found renewed use among diplomatic meetings. Switched on, the sphere begins twisting into new alignments and configurations, playing indistinct musical notes and emitting subtle psychic waves with each shifting sliding movement. Anyone within 20’ of an active orb must succeed at a Difficult [16] WIL check or become unable to take hostile or aggressive actions. The condition wears off after leaving the effective range of the orb.
