Similar to the halberd, the bill is also known as the bill hook or the bill guisarme. It has a hooked, edged blade with pointed spikes mounted on the end of a pole; the hooked blade curves back to form a hook. A couple of variations include the 6' black (military) bill and the 8'–9' forest (civilian) bill. This weapon is ideal for fighting mounted knights with heavy stopping power in the spearhead, a powerful swing, and the hook to drag the unlucky horseman to the ground.
