This is a double-edged knife which has a back curving blade extending like one half of a crossguard. The device is attached to the end of about 15' of rope or chain, on the other end of which is a metal ring. It has multiple uses, and can be used for slashing, stabbing, climbing, and entangling. The weapon counts as climbing gear when climbing.
